FEEDBACK OR QUESTIONS?

This section of the site is designed to give you ideas about ways to promote our phone numbers on your favorite sites.
We don’t expect you will have time to tackle them all, but pick and choose the sites you are familiar with, or those that sound interesting, and look through the ideas we have posted. You may also come up with some of your own.

There is a link at each category to print out the descriptions and ideas for easier reference.
Don’t Forget:
• Our hotlines are free to call – this is sometimes worth mentioning when posting numbers in different places.

• We have a reputation to protect! Please don’t post anything slanderous, mean, or inappropriate. Not only will we deny your internship credit, we will call your mom and have her send you to bed without supper.

• Some of our hotlines are less appropriate for children. Please be mindful of your audience when you are posting.

• Sites recommended in this program are free to join, and are a lot of fun to be members of!

• If you do a really great job we may hire you for a real job!

• If you have ANY questions at all, please contact us: Internship@RHbrands.com 404-496-6921

SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES:
  1. You can customize your MySpace profile any way you like. Put up a ton of pictures from www.humorhotlines.com/media.asp to advertise the numbers.
  2. Post comments for your friends with a number for one of our humor hotlines.
  3. Become a friend of the Rejection Hotline on MySpace – click here to sign up: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=17956007
  4. Search “Rejection Hotline” to find other groups related to the Rejection Hotline and join those, too.  Interacting with the people already in these groups may give you ideas on how else to promote the numbers.
  5. You can create your own group for your favorite RH Brands humor hotline and invite as many people as possible to join your group.  Be creative – start a group for people that actually received the Rejection Hotline phone number (617-861-3962) from someone that was trying to hit on them, or people that have received the Bad Breath Notification phone number (631-960-7170) as a trick.
  6. Sign up to help us jazz up our profile – please! Fill out the contact form.
  7. Make daily updates to your status to include a funny phone number from RH and a reason for your friends to call or to visit www.humorhotlines.com.
  8. Add any YouTube video talking about one of our phone numbers onto your MySpace page. Here are some we like:
--- Bad Breath Notification Rap by Tracie Mae: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=do5RsE1pNyE
    --- CozmoDaHot1 posted a response to Tracie’s video here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YtGGUVSK_SI
You’ll find a bunch when searching “Rejection Hotline”.  Click here to see the list and find your favorites: http://uk.youtube.com/results?search_query=rejection+hotline&search_type=&aq=f
  9. Create your OWN video about one of our hotlines and post it on YouTube and your MySpace page!
  10. You could post new bulletins daily with updates about RH Brands concepts including new additions to the humor hotlines, new ways to use them, etc. (All your friends can read your bulletins – make sure to add a lot of friends!)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1. Upload an unlimited number of photos and videos that represent your favorite RH concepts. To find these photos, go can search Google Images for “Rejection Hotline” or grab them off our website: www.humorhotlines.com/media.asp (see notes for myspace above to find videos to post).
  2. Add applications such as Bumper Sticker, where you can upload your own pictures and create a bumper sticker for your favorite concept.
  3. Search “Rejection Hotline” and join all the groups that promote our stuff – get your friends to join, too!
  4. Customize your profile page to express yourself and post news about RH and your favorite hotline.
  5. Share links, videos and photos with your friends that are relative to RH concepts.
  6. Post notes about Rejection Hotline and/or favorite numbers and “tag” any/all of your friends.
  7. Create events about upcoming hotlines…or ideas about what kind of hotlines you would want.
  8. Email privately, or instant chat with anyone who is online and gossip about Rejection Hotline and discuss favorite and least favorite numbers. Or, jokingly, send out a mass message saying something along the lines of, “Need to talk you ASAP! Call me at 631-960-7170” (Bad breath notification number) to get a few laughs.  Try this tactic with our other concepts as well.
  9. RH has a Facebook application in the works – stay tuned for the launch announcement!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1. On Bebo, anybody can create a “music” page. This enables you to create a profile showcasing your music. It includes a band member list which is similar to the friends list on a normal profile, a list of fans (fans who have added the band as though it were a friend), an area for tour dates, a blog, and a list of songs which have been uploaded for playing through Bebo's media player, or which may be added to other user's playlists. So for somebody who would like to get creative, you can make an artist page and write/sing songs about the Rejection Hotline or any of the other hotlines.
  2. Bebo has a special thing called “Bebo Authors”, also known as Bebo Books. On this section of the site, authors can upload chapters of their books and also get them reviewed with a certain module. Maybe somebody could write something about each of the hotlines (their least and most favorite) and make it look like a book.
  3. Bebo has groups, as well. Group pages give users an option to join things they find interesting. These groups can often be educational as well as associated with pop culture. So you can create a group about the Rejection Hotline, or find preexisting groups to join!
  4. On the Bebo photo albums, you could upload the pictures from the Rejection Hotline website (www.humorhotlines.com/media.asp) so all of your friends can view them.
  5. You can upload one of the many humorous videos from You Tube about the Rejection Hotline or a specific hotline straight onto your Bebo page. (see the notes for Myspace above)
  6. Bebo also has a blog section, the so user can write anything they would like in the blog...experiences with each hotline, funny happenings, favorite hotlines, etc.

  2. Find videos relating to the Rejection Hotline all over the Internet to post onto your Friendster profile.
  3. Create a discussion in the “Forums” section of Friendster talking only about Rejection Hotline, and get as many people on Friendster to offer their opinion as possible on which hotline they like best and least. Put a list of all the numbers, or your favorites, in the forum.
  4. Use the chat room application to chat up anyone and everyone about the funny numbers they can find at humorhotlines.com.
VIDEO and PHOTO WEBSITES:
  1. Create a channel of videos about uncomfortable dating situations or something else related to RH concepts.  Ask others to contribute to your channel and post videos about your topic.
  2. Find videos others have posted related to our concepts and post comments on them with the relevant phone numbers or a link to the website.
  3. Make videos promoting our lines in humorous fashion.  Get your friends to help!  Post them to YouTube and metacafe and spread the word!

BACK TO LIST --------- WAIT I HAVE A QUESTION!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1. Upload photos and videos to a new account all relating to one RH concept.  For instance, upload pictures you have taken of things that suck.  Put the phone number for It Could Always Suck More in the caption of some of your photos (505-346-0102).  Join groups appropriate to your concept and get others interested in contributing similar photos on the same theme.
  2. Challenge people to go out and take a picture of “the cheesiest pick-up situation ever” or “something we all need to get over on ‘Get Over It Day’”.  There are possibilities for challenges for all of RH’s concepts.
  3. Search out photos to comment on where it’s appropriate to insert a phone number to one of our hotlines.

BACK TO LIST --------- WAIT I HAVE A QUESTION!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1. On Photobucket, you can upload from a mobile phone to a specific group.  This is an easy way to garner interest in the challenges we proposed above (in the Flickr section)
  2. Photobucket has a contest category!  What a perfect place to put together a contest related to RH concepts!
  3. Upload a bunch of RH images (found at www.humorhotlines.com/media.asp) and create a MySpace layout that features our phone numbers.  Share this with friends and get them to spread the word around for you.

BACK TO LIST --------- WAIT I HAVE A QUESTION!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Create a slideshow of anything RH related.  You’ll find lots of suggestions in the Flickr and Photobucket bullets above.  Post in on your MySpace page, and don’t forget to include some numbers for viewers to call!
CONTENT/INFO WEBSITES:

Here is a chance for all you creative writers to write hubs (one-page informative websites) about your favorite topics and include humorous phone numbers from RH Brands.  You can even earn money on the ads on your hub if you can get enough people to visit and interact.  If you have a favorite RH concept and would like to be the official Hub publisher on that concept, please let us know, and we’ll see if we can help you out!  Otherwise, you can find creative ways to insert our phone numbers in hubs you create on a variety of topics.  Feel free to use picture and banners found at www.humorhotlines.com/media.asp to illustrate your pages.  Include videos from YouTube and anything else you can think of to jazz up the site.

Be creative!  Publish papers on dating and rejection, bad hygiene or any other topic where you can highlight an RH concept and phone number.  Be creative! Funny, engaging commentary on the dating scene, the upcoming election (Campaign Headquarters Hotlines), what you want for Christmas (Calls to Santa 973-409-3282), or stories about how you have put RH phone numbers to use.  You can use pictures and banners from www.humorhotlines.com/media.asp to liven up your files.  Just copy and paste the images right onto your document and upload!

Find out if your friends are on twitter and get them to start following you on the site.  Then you can post hotlines and numbers for your friends to call – they can post their reactions to the calls on Twitter for you to see.  Start a Twitter channel about dating.  Talk about the guys or gals you are meeting when you are out with friends.   “OMG – he’s wearing a toupee!!!  I’m giving him the Rejection Hotline number (617-861-3962) for sure!”  Or, post quick updates through out the date to keep fans updated on how the date is going.  Anything where you could drop in a few hints about RH.

  7. Be sure to Digg other stuff you like, too.  We want people looking at your profile to think that you are well-rounded J We would like to have you Digg 5 or 10 items for RH, and 15 or 20 for yourself to start.

You can use the same techniques you used on Digg (above) to bookmark favorites through del.icio.us.  Be sure to spend some time developing your profile on these sites to add some personality to your recommendations!  People are more likely to join your network and check out your bookmarks if your profile has some points of interest, like photos or a link to your website or blog.  Pay attention to the tags you are using when bookmarking information.

  1. If you have a blog, you can join Technorati and make sure your blog is seen by the world.   You’ll need to sign up for a membership and install some tagging code on your blog so that Technorati knows what keywords to associate with your blog.  Submit the url when you update your blog at http://technorati.com/ping to ensure it will be found and read.  Blog entries referring to RH concepts and phone numbers are great for getting the word out!
  2. Create videos and photos relating to RH concepts (for example, take pictures of things that really suck and post the It Could Always Suck More phone number to go with it).  Upload these photos and videos to Flickr and YouTube and submit the links to Technorati.
  3. Find other fans blogging about RH or other things that interest you and add them to your favorites – you can then share your favorites with your friends on Technorati!
  4. Search blogs using Technorati for topics related to a concept and comment on those blogs.  Leave the phone number in the comment for the concept you think is appropriate.
